Customer Reviews
Love these craft kits!
Just received my Holiday Crafts order and I am so excited! The Christmas-themed kits are even cuter in person. My troop is going to absolutely love making these. Everything was packaged well and arrived super fast. This is going to make our December meeting so much fun. I'm already planning my next order for their STEM Craft Kits!
Reliable for troop supplies
This was my third order from MakingFriends, mostly for Fun Patches and some Craft Supplies like Pony Beads. My previous orders were fine, but this time, one of the SWAPS Kits I received had fewer beads than described. It wasn't a huge deal, I had some extras on hand, but it was a minor inconvenience. The pricing is usually fair, and their selection for scout-related items is definitely better than most places. Shipping is typically consistent, arriving within a week or so, which is decent. I do wish they'd double-check kit contents more carefully before sending them out, but overall, it's still my go-to for troop crafts.
Quick shipping, good patches
Ordered some Animal Patches. They arrived in 3 days. Patches were good quality. No issues with the order. Will buy again.
Patches arrived quickly
Needed some Animal Patches. Placed my order. They shipped fast. Patches are good quality. No issues.
Good experience with Craft Supplies
I purchased a few Craft Supplies, including Pony Beads and Lanyards, for a large troop event. The ordering process was straightforward on their website; it was easy to find what I needed. Shipping took exactly four business days to arrive in Texas, which was as expected. Everything was well-packaged, and the quantities were accurate. I had a small question about one of the items before ordering, and customer service responded to my email within a few hours. The quality of the beads and lanyards is perfectly fine for our activities, although the lanyards were a bit thinner than I anticipated from the picture. Overall, a positive experience.
So much fun!
Oh my goodness, I just got the 'Badge in a Bag' for Outdoor Activity Patches and it's fantastic! Everything was included, perfectly organized, and the instructions were so clear. My troop is going to love earning these. I already have my eye on some Holiday Crafts for next month. I'm telling all the other leaders about MakingFriends, seriously you have to check them out! So happy with my purchase!
Good selection, slow shipping
I ordered a few STEM Craft Kits and some Community Service Patches for our troop meeting. The website was easy enough to navigate, and finding what I needed wasn't a problem. I appreciated the variety of kits available, it gave us some fresh options. Checkout was straightforward. However, shipping took about 8 days to get to me in Ohio, which felt a bit long, especially since I was hoping to have them for a meeting sooner. Everything arrived well-packaged though, and the quality of the patches and craft materials seems good. The kids enjoyed the activities. Just plan ahead for delivery times.
Reliable for troop supplies
I've ordered from MakingFriends several times now, usually for our troop's fun patches. This time I got a SWAPS Kit and some Foam Shapes. The quality is always consistent, which is why I keep coming back. Shipping took about 5 days to get here in California, which is pretty standard. I wish they'd offer more variety in the SWAPS kit themes, but overall, it's a solid choice for our scout crafts.
